Dr Pritam Agrawal has been a sports fan all his life, so when he completed his doctorate, he chose to specialize in sports medicine. Over the past decade, he has helped people improve their joint health through his medical residency and practice.  Here’s a bit about his educational qualifications: he did his MBBS from Grant Medical College and JJ Hospital (Mumbai), followed by MS Orthopaedics from Maulana Azad Medical College (Delhi). After completing his fellowship in Joint Replacement Surgery in Mumbai, he pursued the MCh ORTHO degree from Dundee (UK), where he received the Ian Smillie award. He specializes in minimally invasive knee replacement surgery (the first of its kind in Chhattisgarh), in which a patient can stand within 6 hours of the surgery. Here’s what Dr. Pritam says about his practice, “After staying in the UK for my postgraduate studies for more than four years, I came to Raipur to start my practice in the field of orthopaedics. I started this speciality clinic specifically for individuals with knee and shoulder injuries, under which we cover OPD, Diagnostics, and Surgery of the joints. Having specialized in knee and shoulder orthopaedics, I noticed how people here took their joint health for granted. Instead of seeking medical help, they ignore their joint problems and don’t consult a doctor. Unfortunately, this can lead to joint problems later in life as one becomes old.”
